From the Department of Energy for the week ending Wednesday August 19th. Record low prices on the price of natural gas. Anyone would think that in a normal market, this could mean more people heating with gas this year. Paying the extra money to not have to heft 40lb bags of pellets into their stoves. This should create a surplus of pellets and lower prices. But, we might have to wait a while for those surpluses to happen and prices to drop. I think it is a bad time to buy a full heating season supply of pellets.
